CM Does Not Accept Connections Intermittently And Testnap Hangs (Doc ID 965295.1)

Purpose

When CM (connection manager) has been running overnight, testnap does not respond quickly in the morning. This behavior is repeated many times during the day. There are error messages in DM_Oracle (data manager for Oracle).

Scenario 1:

1. Install BRM on Linux x86-64 with dm_oracle connecting to two nodes 11g RAC.
2. Run CM overnight
3. Create 10 testnap connections every hour
4. After 12-14 hours stop the automated testnap connections
5. Use testnap
6. It gives symptoms of hanging
