Explicitly Set RECORD-ROUTE Header Transport Parameter To TCP Inside Proxy Application (Doc ID 968002.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 10, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Converged Application Server - Version: 3.1.0 to 4.0.0 - Release: 3.1.0 to 4.0.0
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When the Proxy app loaded on SIP Server sends out 200 OK, with Record-Route header, the transport parameter is NOT set. Therefore the B2BUA that receives the message sends the ACK on UDP. Since no explicit transport was mentioned, default transport of UDP is assumed on the B2BUA.
