Purpose
Application Install - Oracle Value Chain Planning 12.1.2. Information in this document applies to any platform.
Scope
The intended audience for this document:
Business User: Provides knowledge and guidance regarding application functionality.
Database Administrator: Installs and configures the Oracle database and maintains database access controls.
System Administrator: Responsible for administering systems.
This document contains instructions for customers who plan to upgrade an existing Oracle Value Chain Planning system to 12.1 Release Update Pack 2 (12.1 RUP2).
You should read and understand all the tasks described in these installation instructions before you begin the installation.
For instructions on a complete installation, refer to <Note 761773.1> and then follow it with steps mentioned in this document.
Complete the tasks in the following sections. Updated versions of the patches and documents listed in this section may be available. Check My Oracle Support or contact Oracle Support Services for the latest versions.
Tasks included in these instructions require the use of the AutoPatch, AD Administration, and other AD utilities.
