UNABLE TO OPEN CASE ATTACHMENT (PDF, DOC, XLS, ...) FOR ONE REMOTE AERS SITE ONLY

Information in this document applies to any platform.
In one AERS remote site using VPN to connect it has not proved possible to open the files with extension PDF, DOC, XLS attached to a case.
For this one site/set of users only, double clicking on the attachment launches the browser, but then immediately crashes.
This problem occurs for German AERS users only and not all the AERS users.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Attach a PDF file to a case.
- The file is attached successfully.
- Double click on the attachment.
- The browser opens but the file is not displayed.
- Browser Crashes
