Days And Dates Displayed In SIM Calendar Are Out Of Sync For Spanish/French Locale (Doc ID 977012.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 20, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management - Version 12.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In Store Inventory Management (SIM) system, find that the calendar that is displayed in various functional areas in SIM is not correct. For example, the days and the date values are displayed wrongly in the calendar. The issue has to do with the display of the calendar in a different locale than "US English" that is available on a wide variety of applications across SIM. Specifically, the calendar column headers for the days of the week starts the week with 'Lunes' (Monday) rather than 'Domingo' (Sunday), which some other non-US locales/countries consider as the first day of the week. Also note that the the dates themselves are wrongly displayed in the calendar. i.e. under 'Lunes' (Monday in Spanish) are the Sunday dates, under 'Martes' (Tuesday in Spanish) are the Monday dates, etc. Due to this issue, users cannot use the correct calender in Spanish environment

Steps to recreate:

  1. Click to view the calender in a Spanish locale store
