CommandExecutionError.ERR_ConfiguredNameTooLong: Configured Name Too Long (Doc ID 977280.1)

Symptoms

In IPSA5.2.4 there is a new check introduced that limits the name length of PHB objects (the "Configured Name" field) to =<40 characters. This is to comply with Cisco IOS. However after an upgrade from an older release there may be PHB objects with names longer than 40 characters. If this occurs any searches executed in OIM under the Policy Object renders the following error:
