ERROR IN RELEASE PROCESS 100501 NON-ORACLE EXCEPTION ON PLANNER WORKBENCH (Doc ID 977404.1)

Symptoms

On 11.5.10.2
During the release process on the planner workbench, select the supplies with the following criteria:
- project number equals XXX,
- order type equals planned order.
Then, select Plan - Select All for Release from menu, and after it,  select Plan - Release.
A note window appears to ask to save the selection.
Save the selection by clicking on the OK button in the window.
At this moment, the following error messages appears: "Error in the release process. Please, check the setup. 100501: non-ORACLE exception".

However, if you click on Save icon after Plan-Select All for Release  there is NO confirming note about how many records were saved.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Releasing supplies with project numbers without clicking Save before Plan-Release.
