Last updated on JANUARY 12, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Clinical - Version 4.5.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

A Thesaurus Discrete Value Group (DVG) picklist will not present more than 999 entries even if the view has more than 999 records. This is a known issue and was addressed in the following bug.

<Bug 8754103> - THDVG: PDF 4.5.3 - THESAURUS DVG LOV IN 4.5.3 PDF DE RESTRICTS TO 1000 RECORDS
includes the following comment:

PROBLEM
---------------
If the number of potential items behind the LOV picklist is greater than 1000 (for example, a list of medical trade names) then only the first 999 items will be displayed in the picklist.

NAVIGATION:

1. Log in to RDC
2. Select the Study and site
3. Select the book
4. Open the CRF
5. Check the LOV values

What can be done to get around this limitation?
