Allocation Purge Batch Script (purge.sh) is Not Deleting Allocations from the Database (Doc ID 981110.1)

Symptoms

Purge batch program (purge.sh) does not delete records from ALC_ALLOC table even after the allocation is deleted from the application.

Steps to recreate:

  1. Close an allocation that has data in ALC_XREF.
  2. run the purge.sh script
  3. Verify that the above allocation is not deleted from ALC_ALLOC table.
