Information in this document applies to any platform.
Purpose
This document will provide steps to set a primary communications contact in the organization to receive the following notifications from Oracle:
- Global Change Notifications (GCN)
- Production Incident Notifications (PIN)
- Production Change Notifications (PCN)
Scope
- Registered users receive email notifications when an incident (PIN) or maintenance (PCN) impacting their zone occurs.
- Contacts configured to receive PIN and PCN for TEE zones will automatically also receive GCN. Note: Since the PCN has an announced end time no further communication will be provided unless the maintenance goes beyond the announced end time.
- Customers are responsible to store these email messages on their computer or network infrastructure for future reference.
