This document aims to present the basic steps to import data to Fusion PIM Data Hub (EGI) after initial system setup has been performed.
PIM Import will take Item data originated from third party systems, import it, apply data filters and matching criteria if desired and allow manual rework of exceptions. The aim being creation of a single source of truth for Item data in an organization and the ability to reference back to original definitions.
NOTE: Prior to any upload by a new user or the first time for a workstation (PC) please ensure that the requisite ADFdi Add In extension has been loaded for Microsoft Excel 2007 and is live. Please refer to <Note 1273076.1> for pre-requisite information for ADFdi

Alternative methods exist such as FBDI import, web services or Import Maps. This document only covers ADFDi method of import.
