Information in this document applies to any platform.
Purpose
Oracle Application Express requires two components:
- A database where the APEX database objects are installed.
- An web server with mod_plsql support, which is used to access the APEX objects in the database from a browser.
Each of these components has their own certification and support documents. The purpose of this document is to describe which versions of APEX are certified / supported with the various database and web server options. APEX as a product does not have and OS certification. For OS certifications, please review the relevant database or web server certifications. If the database / web server is certified on a particular platform, the APEX is supported on that platform.
