Symptoms

 

An error occurs when adding a product in a product Group.



The error is as follows:
A connection to the server has failed. (status=500)
The error can be reproduced as follows:
1) Go to "Setup and Maintenance"
2) Navigate to "Manage Product Groups"
3) Lock one product group.
4) In the Product Group navigate to the TAB Products and click here on the plus (+) button.


Result:
Error message: "A connection to the server has failed. (status=500).

Sometimes, the following error too is occurred if profile option for that item Org was not properly setup.

"The organization ID is invalid (QSC-375047)"
