Symptoms

Orchestration Process Definition fails with an error:

The exit criteria for step XXXXXXX must correspond to a status in which Mark as Complete is selected.

The issue can be reproduced by executing the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the Setup and Maintenance (FSM)
  2. Search for and select the task - Manage Orchestration Process Definition
  3. Define orchestration process, including a Wait step where the exit criteria is defined as status code 'Billed'.
  4. The error is reported when the changes are saved and validated
