Fusion Applications BI Publisher : Create Data Model with Data Set Based on View Object and Receive Error "Failed to load View Object" (Doc ID 1464041.1)

Symptoms

You are attempting to create a data model that has a data set based on a Fusion Applications View Object. 

 

Steps to replicate.

  1. Click on Create Data Model.
  2. Default Data Source = ApplicationDB_HCM
  3. Click on Create Data Set and select 'View Object'
  4. When you enter the Application Module name as ‘oracle.apps.hcm.location.publicModel.analytics.applicationModule.LocationAM’ and click on the ‘Load View Objects’, you receive the on screen pop-up error:
