FA: SCM: OM: Ship Method Is Not Populated in Sales Order Received from an External Source

Symptoms
After submitting the sales order payload from Order Capture (OC) system into Order Management the ship method value is not visible on the order fulfillment line.
The carrier information is populated in the OC payload but when the order is queried in the DOO Workbench the ship method field is null.
The requirement is to pass the ship method defined for Order Capture system into DOO which then cross references this value to that which exists in the downstream fulfillment system.
