Purpose

 One of the common issue in Fusion Application is the login and single sign on issue, such as: user can not login, single sign on not working etc. This article will explain the architecture background, tools used for troubleshooting and general steps to troubleshoot common issues.

 Tools used to troubleshoot login and single sign on issues:
 1.  Tools to capture Live Http Header
 2. Tools to access user information in OID
 3. Tools to access user information in OIM
 Troubleshooting common configuration issue:
 1. Verify your accessing URLs
 2. Verify webgate configuration
 3. Verify OHS configuration
 4. Verify authentication level
 5. Verify whether you have a policy for resource oamTAPResponseAssertResource
 Troubleshooting common data issue:
 1.  Verify that the login user do exist in Identity Store
 2. Verify you have correct password
 3. Verify user status
 Troubleshooting environmental issues:
 1.  Truncating long URL by load balancer will cause browser spinning
 2. OHS server kept restarting will cause login time out
 3. Running out of connection pool will cause incorrectly formatted page or blank page being displayed
 
 Other Scenarios:
 1. Same secret key allow same user to switch between multiple environments without re-login
