Symptoms
After entering a change to a person record or creating a new user, any of the following scenarios might occur:
- The Manage User screen displays an error in the User Details section the following error appears:
" System Failure with identity management when running the OIM SPML Add Request call - Please contact your System Administrator quoting spml instanceId:1210021"
- A message appears on the Manage Person screen indicating that changes to the User are pending. This can occur when changes to the user have taken place (ex. Entered a manager change) however the ManageEmploymentApproval task flow was not set to auto approve.
- When performing an Edit > Update > Manager Change on an Employment record, the changes get submitted, but they don’t get reflected when navigating back to the Manage Employment page.
- User is unable to make any further changes because the Edit button is greyed out / disabled on the Manage Employment screen.
