Some Users May Miss Manager Data in OIM/Security Console When Batch Loading Users to Fusion Application (Doc ID 1480052.1)

Symptoms

If you are a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) customer, there are multiple sections in this document that need not be performed by you. Please log a Service Request in My Oracle Support for Oracle to do this for you.

 


After customer load a batch of users to Fusion Application, some users miss manager in OIM or security console


Steps to reproduce:

1. Batch load users to Fusion Application

2. Log in to Fusion Application
 
3. Click Navigator -> Person Gallery -> Organization Chart
  i.e. You will find  a user (manager1) has few reportees (emp1, emp2, emp3)

 

For fusion release 11 and before:

4. Log in OIM Console

5. Click Administration -> Search Users manager1
 
6. Open user manager1, click Direct Reports tab
  i.e. You will only see emp2 listed there

 

For fusion release 12+:

4. Click Navigator -> Tools : Security Console -> Users -> Search and open the user (emp1, emp3)

You will see those users do not have manager
