Fusion Compensation Management: Action And Action Reason Codes Date Effectivity

In Fusion, under Manage Action and Manage Action Reason, the Start and End Date seem similar to the PeopleSoft Effective Date logic.
Fusion codes are defined to 1/1/2000 and 12/31/2012 respectively. This would imply that PeopleSoft history coming into Fusion with codes less than 1/1/2000 will not be allowed or will produce an error.
Given the above scenario, after December 31, 2012, will the Fusion Codes become invalid?
