Termination Process stuck at Approval Stage

Once the Termination process is completed, a stuck in approval message appears on the screen. Also, when you search the employee on an effective date where the employee should not appear anymore, then user can him (while should not), and when you navigate to the Manage Work Relationships page, none of the changes (Termination) appear. When you click on the Edit button > Terminate you get the Approval message - which implies that they have been caught in approval.
1.Record the Termination
Navigator > Person Management > Search the employee > Manage Work Relationships > Actions > Terminate > Fill in all the relevant fields > Submit > Stuck in Approval screen appears
2.View the Termination / Edit
Navigator > Person Management > Search the employee > Manage Work Relationships > Actions > Edit > Stuck in Approval screen appears
