The Global search toolbar and notification alert are no longer appearing in the top left of the application in Release 5.
This is still true after checking profile option called "FUSION_APPS_SEARCH_ENABLED" that can be used to display the "Global Search UI" in Fusion Applications.
> Navigator > "Setup and Maintenance" > search for "Manage Administrator Profile Values"
> "Go to Task" > search for "FUSION_APPS_SEARCH_ENABLED" in the Profile Option Code field.
This is already set to Yes so global search fields should be displayed
