Inquire On Journal Lines - Search Criteria On Account - Does Not Work As Expected With Operators Other Than Equal To

On the Inquire on Journal Lines screen using the Advanced Search, when 'Starts with' or 'Contains' operators are used for the Account field search and a partial account number is entered, no results are found.
It only brings back results when the whole account number is entered.

Expect to get back results when partial account numbers are entered in the advanced search in conjunction with the operators 'Starts with' or 'Contains'.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Navigation: Financial Reporting Center > Inquire on Journal Lines
2. Click on Advanced search
3. Select something different than Equals, like Starts With, for the Account field; the drop down list disappears. If only a partial account value is entered, the result is 'No results found'
