Unable To Open Google Maps Using Web Content (Doc ID 1537300.1)

Customer is trying to open Google maps into web content to open in detail page, but after configuration, it comes with message
This content cannot be displayed in a frame
  To help protect the security of information you enter into this website, the publisher of this content does not allow it to be displayed in a frame.
  What you can try:
  Open this content in a new window
On clicking "Open this content in a new window", the correct URL opens but in a new window.

Customer would like to display Google Maps in a sub tab. 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1.On the App Composer > Sales > Opportunity object > Pages Overview page, click the Create Subtab icon to create one or more subtabs to display on the object's details page.
2.Select Web Content.
3.On the Web Content subab configuration page, enter the display label for the subtab, and then define the URL to retrieve the subtab's Web content.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot see google maps in the same view, only in another window.
