Sales Account Mandatory Is Not Working In Opportunity Object? (Doc ID 1560987.1)

Symptoms

On : 11.1.5.0 release

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
The Sales Account field does not display as required (*) when setup in apps composer

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
THis Sales Account field should be displayed as required once setup as such in apps composer

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1) Navigator > application composer > Application = Sales > Standard object = Opportunity >
  > standard fields > Customer

2) Edit « Customer » field and define it as « Required”

3)
Navigator > Opportunities > Create a new Opportunity to check the required attribute of the Customer field
Issue is that the field is not displayed as required.
Even is the field is effectively required (get an error message if this field is not filled)
