Error When Trying To Define Validation For Country Primary Geography Data

Symptoms
When attempting to use "Validation" for the Geography Country using the Task "Manage Geographies", the following error occurs.
You cannot select this attribute because it was previously selected for geography mapping. (HZ-120438)
Reproducible Steps
1. Log into Fusion Applications
2. Navigate to Set up and Maintenance
3. Under Tasks, Enter "Manage Geographies" and ENTER
4. Enter Proper Code of the Country under Code (for Example, if you are looking for Country United States of America, Enter code as "US")
4. Search for the Country
5. Then, Click on Validation Defined
6. "Map to Attribute" values should be selected as per the Geography Type, If already selected, do not change the values.
7. If mapping is done incorrectly, like for example, for Geography Type "Zip Code", if mapping value is given or selected as "City" instead of "Postal Code", then it gives the below Error
