Purpose
This article will assist system admins properly setup NFS mounts on Oracle Linux & Oracle Solaris for Oracle Database 11g R2 when accessing shares on Oracle ZFS Storage Appliances.
Scope
This article is limited to NFS mounts on Oracle Linux 5.x 6.x & Oracle Solaris 10, 11 for Oracle Database 11g R2 when accessing shares on Oracle ZFS Storage Appliances.
Generic storage settings can be found in Doc ID 359515.1, the main change in the ZFS Storage Appliance specific settings is with rsize and wsize. Please refer to your storage vendor for other NAS storage vendor solutions.
