Purpose

The goal of this Getting Started document is to provide you with the latest information  to assist in  installing and implementing 12.1.0.1 and 12.1.0.2 on the IBM: Linux on System z (s390x) platform.   This document is compiled and provided based on Oracle's experience with its zLinux and RAC customer base. 

This Document contains links to 12.1 software, on-line documentation and other IBM: Linux on System z articles.  Oracle recommends that you review carefully the on-line documentation.
