Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 11.1.5.0.0 version, Synchronization

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------

Customer performed an upgrade of Fusion CRM Outlook client from version 3.02.18 to 3.02.23.
Instead of uninstalling the 18 client and then re-installing with 23 customer performed a minor upgrade by running the following command line to upgrade
the Outlook add-in:

msiexec /I c:\Fusion\Oracle_Fusion_CRM_for_Microsoft_Outlook.msi
REINSTALL=ALL REINSTALLMODE=vomus
FUSION_SERVER_HOST="crm-aufsn4x0djf.oracleoutsourcing.com"
FUSION_SERVER_PROTOCOL="https" FUSION_SERVER_PORT="443"
FUSION_SERVER_SUFFIX="outlookEditionConnector/OutlookRequestHandlerService"
FUSION_USE_CERTIFICATE="1" /L*v C:\upgradelog.txt

After the upgrade was complete the add-in uninstalled the old data, downloaded the new package and then successfully performed a first sync. Once the first sync was complete I made a minor change to Outlook and then
manually clicked "Synchronize All Changes". At that point Outlook crashed and restarted itself. Since then I've been able to synchronize without any further issue but the upgrade should not be causing Outlook to crash.
