Symptoms

On :  11.1.7.0.0 version, Pursue Leads and Opportunities-Follow Up Leads

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR  
---------------
When Sale Rep. makes the Lead and His Manager Convert the same into Opportunity . After Release 7 upgrade the system changes the Owner Name from Sale Rep to Manager's Name.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The converted from Lead Opportunity owner  should stay the Sales Rep

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1  Log a a Sales rep
    Navigator > Lead Qualification > Create A New Lead
    > From Lead created a new customer and contact
    > Add product & Value in Lead > Save and Edit
    > Sales rep is the lead owner .

2 . Log as manager of the sales rep
 Navigator > Lead Qualification > Retrieve same lead as Branch Manager
  > convert lead to Opportunity
 
3. Navigator > Opportunities > Retrieve the converted opportunity
  > After convert opportunity it showing Branch Manager name as Opportunity . Owners and no more sales rep
 

This issue appeared after Release 7 upgrade

Due to this issue, users cannot be confident of the converted Opportunity owner which can lead to errors .
