Purpose
This article serves as a reference to the valid characters that can be used in email addresses in Eloqua and the conditions under which validation rules are imposed.
Scope
Eloqua imposes the following email validation rules when:
- An email address field is included on an Eloqua form and configured for validation
- Emails are sent to email addresses contained in the Eloqua contact database
