Search And Select Contact Customization : Need to customize this Contact Search Layout (Doc ID 1620028.1)

Goal

Can you please let know how to  customize this Contact Search Layout

For example---
1) If we need to remove any one tab in it like My Key Customer Contacts , All Customer Contacts, All Contacts.(which are tabs marked in red at the screenshot attached)
2) How can we remove fields like contact number in the search layout.(which is marked in the screen shot as Star in red at the screenshot attached)

This is a critical issue for the customer. In all other CRM products including those from Oracle, custom fields can be used in search, OOB fields
can be hidden and the sequence of fields can be defined. The customer requires end users to be able to search on custom fields (ie., 'Name in
Chinese' or 'Name in Korean') and also requires the end users not to use fields that are not relevant to their implementation such as Contact 'Registry Id'.
It is understood that Oracle currently sees it as an enhancement request however the customer sees it as a basic CRM feature that
is missing. Customer cannot wait until Rel 10 or some future release for this feature and requests that this be considered a bug and made available as a patch for Release 7.
