Symptoms
Load US Geographies ends in error, process does not complete.
Error
Validating input parameters.
Calling Sql*Loader to load data.
Submitted child request with id ::4419
Checking status of child request::4419
Data uploaded into interface table. No. of records: 133041
Error in API ::: hrx_us_load_file
Trying to upload an older version of geography data file
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1) Navigator/Setup and Maintenance/Load Geographies and US/Click on Go to Task
2) On the Processes tab, click the “Validate Input Parameters and Load Geography” record
3) Enter the following:
Data Source = Vertex
File Location=/u01/APPLTOP/fusionapps/applications/thirdparty/hcm/vertex/stub/
File Name = oramast.txt
4) Do the same for Run Post Processing
5) Submit
6) Navigator/Scheduled Processes
7) Process ends in error
