Approve/Reject Links Do Not Work In Absence Approval Email Notification

Fusion Applications version 11.1.7 is been used.
Email Notifications are been used to approve or reject tasks submitted by users
When a manager tries to Approve/Reject an Absence Approval task via email, the task is not approved.
The behavior can be reproduced using the following steps
1. Submit a new task such as an Absence Request
2. Manager receives and email with Approve button.
3. Manager clicks on Approve
The task is not showing as approved for he user that has submitted the task
