Oracle BigMachines CPQ Cloud Service - Version 12.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
One of the features of Oracle CPQ Cloud is the ability to use Configurable Attribute Calculators. Configurable Attribute Calculators can be thought of as a smaller Configurator contained within the main Configurator. Configurable Attribute Calculators will determine the value of an attribute based upon user responses to questions displayed within the calculator.
An example of a use case for a Configurable Attribute Calculator would be to set an attribute linked to pizza size by asking the user how many people you are ordering for, and any additional questions that would help determine the correct pizza size. Oracle CPQ Cloud will display a page with a set of questions that uses the logic to determine the appropriate attribute value.
This document provides an overview of Configurable Attribute Calculators and instructions about their use.
