In one of our InstantService rules, we are using the rule condition “User abandons the website - Abandon Msg: Please note that you have not completed your reservation.” During testing, I am noticing that the message that customers see depends on the browser they are using. Within Internet Explorer, customers see a window with the following message “Are you sure you want to navigate away from this page? Please note that you have not completed your reservation. Press OK to continue, or Cancel to stay on the current page.” Chrome shows the following message “Confirm Navigation Please note that you have not completed your reservation. Are you sure you want to leave this page?” Firefox shows this message “Are you sure? This page is asking you to confirm that you want to leave – data you have entered may not be saved.” Firefox does not include the abandon message that is in the rule. Is there a reason why the message does not show?
