Not Able To Record Absences For Re-hired Employee Or Global Transfers (Doc ID 1673157.1)

Symptoms

The user is unable to record absences for a re-hired employee or global transfer.

For example: If the employee has been terminated from legal employer and hired into another legal employer. When recording absences against the new legal employer, the following error occurs.

ERROR

You cannot submit an absence in effect after the worker's termination date. (ANC-3405102)

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Re-Hire Case:

1. Employee is been terminated in legal employer A and rehired in another legal employer B as of 01-Jan-2014.
2. Attempt to record an absence for the employee on 31-Jan-2014 and see the error.
    Error: You cannot submit an absence in effect after the worker's termination date. (ANC-3405102)

Global Transfer Case:

1. Created a new employee
    Employee Number - XYZ
    LE - A
    Hire Date - 01-Jan-12
    Apply for Accident Leave from 01-Feb-13 to 30-Sep-13
    Submitted Successfully

2. Perform a Global Transfer
    Date - 14-Nov-13
    LE - B
    Apply for Accident Leave from 01-Dec-13 to 20-Dec-13
    Error: You cannot submit an absence in effect after the worker's termination date. (ANC-3405102)
