Emails Are Not Sending From Either Password Reset or Approval Notifications (Doc ID 1673755.1)

Symptoms

Emails will not send from either the Password Reset functionality for users or for mobile approvals. The following error is found in the bm.log (found at Admin Home Page > Error Logs):

An unknown error (class com.bm.xchange.util.BMSystemException) has occurred. Please contact your system administrator. To help us track this error, please note the date and time in your report: <date and time>. A messaging error occurred while attempting to send an e-mail. Send failure (javax.mail.MessagingException: 501 5.0.0 HELO requires domain address
