Errors encountered after minor upgrade to 3.04.30 client
We have multiple users that have tried to perform a minor upgrade from 3.04.13 to 3.04.30. Once they restart Outlook after performing the minor upgrade they are initiating a synchronization. This results in them getting a message that "A new application has been detected...". They choose "Yes" to remove the current data and re-install the data structure. At that point they get the pop-up bubble that says a new package has been detected but the package never actually gets downloaded -- nothing happens. In some cases the users have tried to sync again which causes Outlook to crash.
I've tried to uninstall the Fusion Outlook software from several users and in each cases I get an error during the unstall, "invalid string position". So right now I can't uninstall the application either.
A new application has been detected...".
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Install CRM Outlook 3.04.30
2. Start CRM Outlook
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot run CRM Outlook 3.04.30
