ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Benefits Element Entries are getting end dated and created again after a new event is occuring.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Benefits Element Entries should not get end dated and created again after a new life event is occuring.

The following enhancement request has been raised 18921248 to have this functionality built in Fusion HCM.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Benefits --> Enrollment. Search for the employee for whom benefits needs to be enrolled.
2. Employee New Hire event occurred on 01-Jan-2014. Employee is enrolled in a Medical Insurance Plan with Options: Employee, Spouse, Child 1-3.
3. Birth of Child life event occurred on 01-Feb-2014. Try to enroll the child from 01-Feb-2014. All the options are getting end-dated on 31st of Jan and again getting enrolled on 1st of Feb, along with Child option.


BUSINESS IMPACT

Due to this issue, there will be a problem in payment for the employee as the amount is getting prorated unnecessarily.
