Document Records: Restricting Document Type list by abstract role
Currently there does not seem to be a way to restrict access to Document Records document so that employees can access them but not Line Managers. The process is as follows:

For example:
1. Create a security profile that excludes a configured document type called 'Diversity'.
2. Assign that security profile to the Line Manager abstract role.
3. Login as a user that has the abstract roles of Employee and Line Manager.
4. Navigate: Navigator > Manager Resources > Document Records. In the 'Type' field the ‘Diversity’ document type is still visible.

If I then exclude the document type from the Employee role it becomes invisible through the as well as through the Navigator > Manager Resources > Document Records route also.

There is no way to restrict the document type to only employees as all Line Managers will also have the Employee role.
