Fusion Applications BI Publisher : Dynamic names for Remote File Name in report delivery are not working correctly following upgrade to Release 8

(Doc ID 1906551.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 21, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Application Toolkit Cloud Service - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When scheduling a BI Publisher report for delivery to an FTP Server the remote filename can be set dynamically using a number of place holders which are converted at runtime to Day, Month, Year :

e.g. TESTFILE1_$d_%M_%y.txt

These should cause the filename to be written out as TESTFILE1_11_07_2014.txt.

In actual fact the files are being written out but the place holders are not being converted correctly and therefore the file is written out as TESFILE1__d__M__y.txt

This behaviour occurs following the upgrade to Fusion Applications Release 8.
