PRC:POZ: Error - This Tax Registration Number Already Exists When Defining A Supplier Address With the Same Tax Registration Number (Doc ID 1911507.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to insert and save the same tax registration number ( Tax Regime Code + Registration number ) on a second address for a Supplier, the following error occurs.

Error Message
This tax registration number already exists for party type Third party site, party name ZZZZZZ , and party site name YYYYYY for the same period.

(ZX-885306) Cause You cannot use the same tax registration number for different party types, party names, and party site names for the same period.
Action For this party site, you must enter a different tax registration number or enter a different period.


Steps To Reproduce
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Navigate to Purchasing > Supplier
1. Enter a supplier,
2. Enter two address for this supplier
3. For the first address, go to the transaction Tax > Tax registrations
4. enter a Tax registration number, i.e Tax Regime Code+Registration number
5. For the second address, go to the transaction Tax > Tax registrations
enter a Tax registration number, i.e same Tax Regime Code+Registration number as the first address.
A error message is displayed
