Oracle Taleo Enterprise Edition: OBI Session Does Not Open in New Browser Tab (Doc ID 1930781.1)

Problem Description:

After accessing Oracle Business Intelligence from the Welcome Center / Table of Contents page, OBI opens in the same browser tab or window, overwriting the existing screen.

The expectation is that it should open in a new browser tab so that the Welcome Center / Table of Contents or other modules (such as Recruiting) remain open in the first tab.


Without being able to see the core application in the first tab, the main session could time out without any notification to the user because they can only see OBI. 
Once the main session times out, the OBI session could produce errors.  Review the following article regarding the error that can occur when this happens:  Error: 'Error 401--Unauthorized'
