Custom Object Does Not Show Up In Navigator

Custom Object does not show up in Navigator under Sales application.
-In sandbox, create custom object 'Product'
-Create desired fields
-Click Pages under new object for Desktop Pages and work through work area wizard to create pages
-First step in wizard is to create navigator menu name. Add object to Sales menu category.
-Continue through wizard and save
-Log out of application and back in. Open navigator, new object does not display in Sales menu.
