Classification Category List Is Empty When Trying To Add A Classification To A Customer From Customer Tree

The users are unable to search for Classifications accessed from the Customer Tree, Classifications node. The Classifications Category list on the "Assign Classification Codes" popup is empty. However, the classification categories are displayed when trying to add classifications from customer profile, Industries section.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. navigate to Customers, drill down on a customer;
2. select classifications tab;
3. add a new classification;
4. cannot find any classifications > the Classification Category dropdown is empty when trying to add a new classification from Classifications node in the customer tree.
