Goal

Not able to activate inactivated Party Site under a Sales Account through Web service

We have a requirement to activate inactivated Party Site under a Sales Account through Web Service. We have tried using MergeOrganizationPaty operation under Sales Party Service. But it is throwing Status Read only error instead of Activating the Party Site. Tried Status with value A and ACTIVE as well both of them throw same error.

How do we activate the inactivated Party Site under a Sales Account through Web service ?
