Unable to Mark Custom Opportunity Text Field Read-Only Based on Role in Page Composer.
Goal is to make a field read-only based on user role
Steps to recreate:
Log in to application using administrative account
Create a custom text field & display field on Opportunity page
Select Navigator > Opportunities
Drill down on an Opportunity
Select the user name in the top right-hand side
Select "Customize Opportunity Pages"
Select Job Role > Sales Representative > OK
Change the page composer from "Design" to "Select" in the top left-hand part of the screen
Click the custom text field
Click "Edit Component"
Result: The checkbox to make the field read-only is itself read-only
Following the above process, other fields were able to be marked as read-only on the same page
As a result, the field can be edited by users who should not have access to the field.
