Oracle Fusion Financials 11.1.8 - Hyperion Financial Reports - Export to Excel 2010 loses the numeric formatting
This worked well in 11.1.3 but after upgrade to 11.1.8 the behavior was encountered.
Issue affects numeric fields where we have CUSTOM formatting to reverse the signage, and it happens in any reports which have this special custom formatting.
Fields are being exported as "General" format (i.e. text fields) whereas the same fields are exported as format Custom in Fusion R3.
It affects cells which had a fix supplied for in R3 because of problems with reverse signage in R3.
The difference between the affected fields (Revenue) and other fields (for example, Expenses), is that in HFR Studio, there is a formula that reverses the sign (negative becomes positive) for the display of the Revenue balances. In release 3, this is respected (the underlying fields are negative and displayed as positive) whereas in release 8, the fields are converted into General.
Financial reports get a wrong format where users cannot perform numeric functions in release 8 that they could in release 3.
