Fusion Absence Management: Manage Absence Records Generates 504 Error (Doc ID 1955679.1)

Symptoms

Repeated 504 error on the 'Manage Absence Records Screen.

The error appears after on average 7.5 minutes after submitting the transaction: A connection to the server has failed (status=504).

Navigation: Navigator > Person Management > Search for Person > Click on Name link > Click on Manage Absence Records link > Click on existing Absence Record > Edit dates > Click Submit

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Navigator > Person Management > Search for Person > Click on Name link > Click on Manage Absence Records link > Click on existing Absence Record > Edit dates > Click Submit
